Google Earth 5.0 came out

It seems that these days are full of great updates. After the release of Windows Beta and Internet Explorer 8.0, yesterday I was surprised with the release of Google Earth 5.0 . A new feature rich version of the best mapping software on the world (IMHO) .

The new version has featured a lot of interesting features including the ability of viewing the historical images of a specific area, diving through the oceans with exclusive images from the BBC and National Geographic and the ability to record the virtual tours.

Windows 7.0 Beta came here

It wasn’t long ago since Windows Vista was released, was it? Me myself, I wasn’t convinced with the whole Vista idea. I do work on Windows XP professional since eight years and I haven’t heard about a singal feature in Windows Vista that would seduce me to use it. A few days ago, Microsoft released the beta version of the newest Windows: Windows 7.0. According to what I have read so far, Windows 7.0 doesn’t have major improvements on Windows Vista.

After learning HTML…. What is next?

If you already have a basic understanding of HTML, then you have a basic technical knowledge which would allow you to build your website on your own. What to do next? You need to have an idea and a niche that you should target. A niche means that you have a specific target goup. For example, if you are target software downloaders you will most probably build a download website or a software reviews website. It is very important to have a goal behind your website in order to attract a specific audience and to have a unique content on your website to distinguish your websites from the rest of the websites on the internet and attract the Search Engines. Always Keep in your mind Content is KING. Post your ideas about your future websites and I will be more than happy to help

My HTML guide

For you to be able to build websites on your own, you need at least a basic understanding of HTML. HTML is the language (syntax) that all the web browsers (Firefox, Internet explorer, Opera, Safari, etc….) understand . HTML is very easy to learn and understand.  HTML is written in the form of tags, surrounded by angle brackets. Almost everything you seen in this page is the result of the interpretation of your browser for the HTML code. If you are using Internet Explorer you can view the HTML source code of this page by going to View > Source. If you have no web programming experience I am pretty sure that the code sounds very complicated at the time being. Don’t Panic!!

I decided not to write an HTML tutorial myself since there are a lot of almost perfect tutorials online. One of the most popular of which is  http://www.w3schools.com/htmL/html_intro.asp.  After completing reading this tutorial you should be able to build at least a basic personal homepage.  This is the first step in learning PHP.

Zampo – Stands out of the crowd

Well out of the gignatic number of software download websites over the internet I have literally found no website which gives recommendation about downloading the best software in a certain category without of the intention of selling something (Paid Reviews or affiliate links). Moreover, I do feel that sometimes the users (who lack web experience) can easily pay for something that they can find somewhere else for free.

Therefore, I decided to launch Zapmo . A website that I hope, will stand out of the crowd by offering the users unique reviews about the best programs in the software categories,  within leading/pushing the user towards an unfair biased download for a commercial software which he can find somewhere else for free.
